Central Park Drifter
|
| | | Features: DVD, Subtitled, Dubbed Working as a nighttime cab driver in New York City, a vampire (Silvio Oliviero, Johnny Mnemonic) transforms a variety of his unsuspecting passengers into members of the vampire underworld he has created. All goes undetected until he experiences human erotic passion, leading to a series of grisly murders whose roots of motivation trace back over 350 years.
Editor's Note
Silvio Oliviero (DOUBLE TAKE) stars in this excellent low budget vampire movie as Stephen Tsepes, an NYC cab driver who is also a vampire. Tsepes, who works the night shift, uses his job to carefully select the people he vampirizes, people who must be ready to die and who be almost as selective of their victims as he is. Selecting only female victims, one of Tsepes' victims has become careless, causing the NYPD to believe to hunt what they believe to be a deranged female serial killer. Making matters worse, Tsepes has fallen in love with one of his potential victims, who has unleased a human passion in him that he has never felt before, something that may be connected to the brutal murders perpetrated by his ring of vampires.
